I’m not sure what it is about The London Police, but I’ve always loved the style. I’m guessing it has something to do with the simplicity of the artwork. I say that, but that is certainly an oversimplification. The subject matter can be deep or whimsical — sometimes both. The brush stroke width is what catches my eye most often. The usage of fat lines vs skinny lines, it doesn’t make any sense to me, but it always seems to work. For instance, check this Teddy Troop from 4avee.
That hat is perfect. Just a great example of the TLP craftsmanship. And of course, displaying it on a Teddy Troop is just perfect. It just makes sense.
If your pockets are a little deeper and you are looking for a bigger piece, I’d highly suggest one of these great prints. Honestly, you can go wrong. Bring a little sophistication to your mom’s basement already. HA.
Watch this and appreciate.
