secretcompass is selling this awesome Gundam Metal Build figure. I really like the look of this figure. I could never get the detail right when I built the kits. The line work was always so difficult to get right. They end up being crooked in one spot and then throw off the entire look.

In the mid 90′s I went through a phase where I liked building model kits. I remember going down to the Route 1 Flea Market (yes the same one referenced in the movie Mallrats) to get Gundam model kits.They were awesome to put together I would waste a good 3-4 hours building and painting them. The Japanese really have a knack for detail. Nothing is ever overlooked. I’ve heard they have Life size Gundam’s in Japan. smlau71 is selling an HG-EX G Gundam kit 1/60 scale. This Gundam stands about 11″ which is pretty big for a model kit that you have to assemble and paint. But from the looks of it all the hard work has been done for you, which kind of takes the fun out.
