Growing up in the former English colony of South Africa I was exposed to many customs from the English culture. Afternoon tea with grandma,fish and chips in newspaper,bangers and mash for dinner and Postman Pat. I remember watching this show as a child and singing along. Postman Pat delivered mail for the Royal Mail of England. He would travel around in his red lorr y(truck) with his cat Jess. He would deliver mail to towns of Greendale and Pencaster. My favorite episodes were Postman Pat goes Sledging and The sheep in The Clover Field. In 2004 HBO started showing newer episodes of Postman Pat. I have to admit I did watch those too.
