hybernation sickness anyone?

Ever since I first saw Empire Strikes Back, I’ve been wondering if Carbonite is a brand name? Is it like the way people say ‘Kleenex’ insted of tissue or ‘Rollerblade’ insted of inline skate? Or is it just a material that they mined in Bespin?

Related to that, is it a real material or is it something that George Lucas made up? If it is made up, does the computer back-up company called Carbonite have to pay Lucas Films?

Anyway, I really hope that some day (after I win the lottery) I can have one of these hanging at the end of a long hallway in my (giant) house.

Deadpool is badass… He is my favorite comic character by far! I buy EVERY comic that he is in, which has been A LOT of books over the last few months. Hes has been on variant covers of pretty much every Marvel book you can imagine! If you’re a fan of Deadpool and you havent played the ‘Marvel Ultimate Alliance’ video game yet, GET IT! Deadpool is the star of the show!

So here is the Marvel Legends series 6 (2004) Deadpool figure. He comes complete with guns, swords, display stand, Doop mini figure and a reprint of Deadpool issue #4. I’m hoping they do more Deadpool stuff based on the Joe Kelly/Ed McGuinness story line & artwork. I really want a Blind Alfred and Weasel action figure!
