The Addams Family is the best selling pinball machine of all time, having sold 20,270 units. Manufactured by Midway/Bally. It was based on the 1991 movie of the same name, and features custom speech (mostly drawn from the movie) by the movie’s stars, Raul Julia and Anjelica Huston.

In 1993 I was going to ‘college’ at CCRI (Comminity College of Rhode Island), but it was really more like 13th grade than actual college. Anyway, there were A LOT of days that I missed class because I was in the cafeteria playing Mortal Kombat II or Addams Family Pinball. It was like a gift from heaven when we relized that the front door of the machine was loose and if you banged on it you got free credits!

It really is the greatest game. I consider myself VERY lucky to have one of these machines at my house and even though it doesnt get used as much as it did when I had roommates, its still one of my prized possesions.
