Reservoir Dogs is one of my all time favorite movies that Quentin Tarantino made. All the characters all so well written, it was really a breath of fresh air to an otherwise stagnant time in Hollywood. ultm80530 is selling the 12″ Mr. Brown figure that Palisades Toys put out in the early part of 2000. These were part of the 15th anniversary revival of Reservoir Dogs. These were not made in large quantities but you can find them from time to time.

I fucking hate The Wizard Oz. I don’t get it, it just seems stupid. But for some reason this Clive Barker style McFarlane Toy is awesome. I remember buying this when it came out. Dorothy looks fucking crazy in that bondage gear. She looks like she could be a back up dancer in at a Marilyn Manson concert. ultm80530 is selling this 12″ figure mint in box. Take a look at the munchkin next to her he looks like a turd.

Medicom Akira Tetsuo Shima 12″ Figure

This figure was released last year. I wish I had one. I have to settle for the McFarlane toys. hk_apestore is selling this awesome Tetsuo figure from Medicom. The amount of detail involved in this figure is astounding. But so is the price. I have to check and see if they made Kanada and the bike.

Medicom strikes again. This time it’s the Spawn Movie figure. This 12″ figure is awesome, I have to say it definitely gives McFarlane a run for their money.myidealstore is selling this figure. It’s very detailed almost like it just jumped out of the comic.

Hostel – Medicom Toy RAH 12-inch Figure

Two weeks ago I was in a bar with some friends hanging out. I noticed on the giant T.V. screen they were showing Hostel 2. If you have ever seen Hostel you know what I’m talking about. It is a movie directored by Eli Roth “The Bear Jew” from Inglorious Bastards. It was part of the new wave of Grindhouse extreme horror movies that hit theaters in mid 2000′s. The movie itself is super violent and extremely gory. So cut back to the bar we are hanging out and watching this movie, with sound turned off mind you, because they had some bullshit music playing on the jukebox. Let tell you it is pretty weird watching people get murdered to Creed or Toby Keith playing in the background. I guess if you are into shit music you can imagine the violence it might cause for someone who doesn’t like it. rclover-toys is selling this Sideshow Collectibles Medicom figure from Hostel. Size Does Matter!

They revealed some cool stuff at the SDCC last week, but this is the best one I’ve seen yet. Gentle Giant is taking the classic 3.25″ 70′s Stars Wars figures and redoing them as 12″ figures! They will still have the same limited articulation and the same simple details, but they will be huge! Each figure is packaged on a giant sized card/bubble and they look amazing!

Unfortunantly they (the first 2 at least) are limited to only 2500 pieces. The Stormtrooper was available for preorder at Comicon and the Boba Fett will be available for preorder at Star Wars Celebration 5 coming up very soon.

Word has it that they are also doing… Darth Vader, Tusken Raider, Jawa, Luke, Han, Leia, Chewbacca, Greedo, Walrusman & Hammerhead, but I seriously doubt they will stop there!
