San Diego Comic Con 2010 Exclusives Week

/ 1031 days ago

All this week I will be posting up some of the sick exclusives from the 2010 San Diego Comic Con. If you were lucky enough to go you could have picked up some of these sweet toys. I, unfortunately did not get to go so I am forced to hit up eBay like most folks. Well, here is the first one and probably the best one.

AUTOBOT BLASTER!

Holy old school Batman! I want this BADLY! I used to have the original 80′s one, but I remember breaking the leg right off. The thing I loved the most about this was the mini cassette sized Transformer that went right into the chest!

The dead guy that wears one glove…

/ 1035 days ago

Nope, not Michael Jackson.  FREDDY!

I couldn’t resist.  ANYWAY, here is the official replica of his glove from the Nightmare on Elm Street movies and let me tell you, it is very well done!  I picked one of these up for my best friend who is a HUGE Freddy fan and it is perfect.  The blades do not come sharpened but I am sure it wouldn’t be hard to do.

More childhood awesomeness.

/ 1036 days ago

What would happen if a GI Joe had sex with a Lego set? Well, it happened in the 80′s and they were called “CENTURIONS”! I LOVED these figures! They all had interchangeable parts and weapons and some even made them almost into their own person vehicles of some sort like the one below.

Even as a kid I thought this figure looked like Tom Selick and I still do!

For those not worried about “collecting” and just want to re-live childhood, here is a huge lot of loose figures and parts.

Logan is undead… Long live Zombie Wolverine!

/ 1036 days ago

A well done custom Wolverine Zombie figure from the Marvel Zombies comic series. Pretty friggin sick looking! It also says it has real metal claws so it’s fun for all ages!

The same guy has up a pretty sweet custom Doomsday figure as well thought I think the Wolvie is much better…

On the non-custom front, this is even more sick!

That picture does it not justice at all so here is a better stock shot of it.

KRANG!!!

/ 1037 days ago

I will just let you know now.  This is the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles post I am going to make but it will definitely not be the last!  This has to be one of my favorite figures other than the first line of movie figures they made of the turtles since they had a more “life like” look and feel.

What is soo awesome about this figure though?  It is KRANG and it is HUGE!  When I was a kid and got this it seemed like it was 3 feet tall since all the other figured were only about 5 inches tall.  This one in reality though I think is about 12 inches tall.  Don’t be fooled, they made 3 different versions of Krang that I am aware of.  Krang in his robotic “walking wheelchair”, a 5inch Krang with full android body, and this one…

And while looking for the Mega Krang I came across this and nearly pissed myself…

Dog Will Hunt!

/ 1037 days ago

Most people really into Texas Chainsaw Massacre consider part 2 to be great. Even though I do really enjoy it and I love Bill Moseley in it (and especially in Devils Rejects!) I kind of consider the character of Chop Top to be the beginning of the downfall of the TCM franchise. I just don’t really like all the comedy he brought to the film.

Anyway, Chop Top is famous for having a metal plate in his head, which he frequently scratches at with a hot wire coat hanger (ouch!). This is a plastic replica of that plate, probably very similar to the one the FX department used on during filming. Bill usually has these with him when he does personal appearances. I’m not sure how much he sells them for, but I cant imagine its much less then the price offered here.

My childhood is up on ebay!

/ 1037 days ago

This is probably one of my favorite toy line from my early childhood, before I became a TMNT collecting freak.  Can it get any better than 2 groups of people fighting each other in tricked out vehicles that turn into death machines?  Plus, they all wore awesome masks when they were down for battle and I know I am not the only one here that is a sucker for masks!  If you have never seen M.A.S.K. then go look it up.  Straight up CLASSIC!  One of the the vehicles in this toy line holds one of my favorite toy related memories.  I would take the orange truck that had a boat pop out from under it and dig tunnels in the snow in my front yard in the winter and blast the thing down the tunnels.

Monty’s Fun Fact: M.A.S.K. stands for Mobile Armored Strike Kommand.

Yeah, those are actually action figures…

/ 1038 days ago

You wanted the realist? Well, they don’t get much more real than this! I can’t believe how good these things look. Peter Criss looks like he stepped right out of Love Gun. I have never seen any KISS figures this well done but unfortunatly the price reflects the quality. I know there are some insane KISS fans / collectors out there so who knows!
