YES! I remember the countless hours of playing with this toy! I was born in 1980 but my brother who is 5 years older than me had this badass toy. We would set this up in our living room and at ther other end we would have a big 3 ring binder proped up on some books. Set this badass up and pull the crank. The cycle would zip across the room and jump right off crashing into the TV stand. Sometimes we would even setup a laundry basket titled behind it so he would make a “death defying leap” off the 3 ring binder and into the basket. We would also sometimes setup some of our toy cars and truck for him to jump over. This is probably the toy with the most vivid memories for me.

Some of my favorite current figures are the LOST figures that McFarlane put out a few years back. I have all of series 1 but need to grab a few more from series 2. I am pissed that these did not sell well enough when they were released because a Series 3 was already planned and was going to have Ben Linus and Sayid among others! One other thing about this figure line… WHY did they make a Shannon figure? Really, who cares?!?! They have about 10 Shannon figures in the 50-75% off bin at toy stores nationwide. Bad idea guys, Claire or Rousseau would have been A MUCH better idea.

Series 1 in package for those that like em’ mint, i however have mine out and displayed like the ones below.

Series 1 and 2 out of box. I like the persons display but looks like he doesn’t have the “backdrops” that came with Series 1.

They revealed some cool stuff at the SDCC last week, but this is the best one I’ve seen yet. Gentle Giant is taking the classic 3.25″ 70′s Stars Wars figures and redoing them as 12″ figures! They will still have the same limited articulation and the same simple details, but they will be huge! Each figure is packaged on a giant sized card/bubble and they look amazing!
Unfortunantly they (the first 2 at least) are limited to only 2500 pieces. The Stormtrooper was available for preorder at Comicon and the Boba Fett will be available for preorder at Star Wars Celebration 5 coming up very soon.
Word has it that they are also doing… Darth Vader, Tusken Raider, Jawa, Luke, Han, Leia, Chewbacca, Greedo, Walrusman & Hammerhead, but I seriously doubt they will stop there!

*this picture is not from the auction, but it shows the figures much better!

Cubedudes are where it’s at! I am not a fan of Be@rbricks really and all the other mini little figures that you really don’t do anything with. These Star Wars Clone Wars Cubedudes are cool! They look awesome and you get to build them!

The Yoda kinda looks more like Mel Brooks in Spaceballs!

I was a BIG fan of ‘Masters of the Universe’ action figures when I was a kid. I remember getting all of the originals over the course of a few trips to the local Childworld store and then they started busting out all sorts of crazy characters and I had to start picking and choosing rather then ‘collecting them all’.
From the start of the series to the end I can clearly say that my favorite character/figure was ‘Stinkor’ – “the Evil Master of Odors”. Not only was he a cool looking muscled out heavily armed skunk, but he also smelled like a skunk!!
Here is a vintage Masters of the Universe ‘Stinkor’ figure loose, but complete. I wonder if he still stinks??

and heres a more recent Stinkor mini statue from Neca Toys. This was done at the same scale as the more recent series of Masters of the Universe action figures, but unfortunantly the line was canceled before they got a lot of the cooler characters produced so Neca picked up the ball and made these ‘mini statues’ to display with the other figures.

On Christmas Day 1983 when I woke up and went to the Christmas tree I was devistated to not see the G.I. Joe ‘Headquarters’ that I had asked for. There was a big assortment of other G.I. Joe toys, but not the one I wanted the most. Once all the presents were opened we headed to my grandmothers for more presents and dinner so I HOPED that the G.I. Joe base was there…. it wasn’t and I was even more devistated. I was an only child so I got A LOT of toys for Christmas, but not the one I wanted most… that is until my God Mother came to my grandmothers house with one giant box. I pulled back that paper and there it was!! I’m sure I screamed from excitment!
I also remember being SUPER anal retentive about all the stickers being propperly placed and making sure my dad didn’t screw up any of them while he put it all together (the G.I. Joe plans were the worst for sticker placement!). Once it was all together, stickers and all we realized that the cover for the non garage lift side of the base was missing. We didnt get one in the box! After some phone calls my dad was able to get one sent to us by Hasbro and I was a VERY happy camper!
Here is a G.I. Joe Headquarters thats missing only one part and looks like its in real good shape. It even comes with a (worn) box. Awesome toy and a good price!

and heres one thats cheaper if your not as concerned with the condition. Its missing some small pieces and is discolored, but still a great toy to play with.

Pretty good deal right here on a 12 figure lot of the Simpsons KidRobot vinyl figures. Just thought I would post it up here for any of you collectors out there since at the current price of $49.99 it is a damn good deal since they can usually run $10+ each depending on where you get em’.

I’m a huge fan of the original Creature from the Black Lagoon movie and I’m a huge collector or random things that I happen to be into. The only reason I haven’t started collecting Creature stuff is because most of the super cool stuff is out of my price range, but maybe someday it wont be!!
this is a pre-order for a set of Universal Monster ‘Creature from the Black Lagoon’ mini-mates figures. Cheap and pretty cool!

this is a supersized vinyl figure done by Amok Time. its done in a slightly exagerated cartoony style, but with nice detail and its 22.5″s tall! This ones a little more expensive, but its really cool!!

last we have a Creature from the Black Lagoon ‘premium format’ figure by sideshow collectibles. This is one of the nicests Gillman toys/statues out there. Its a 1/4 scale and over 20″s tall! Its also very pricey!
