Smells Like Kurt’s Spirit.

Nirvana is definitely one of my favorite bands from the early 90′s, and more importantly the grunge era. I remember being one of two people in 8th grade that liked Nirvana. At that time everyone was into rap and whatever other music that was popular in the 80′s that was fizzling out. But I had an older friend who was in highschool and he got me turned on to Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Mudhoney, L7 and bunch of other bands. Two years later I would discover Hardcore music but that’s another story maybe one for Tee Till Death. Check them out.
mando760 is selling this awesome 18″ statue(I know its an action figure but I like to refer to this as statue) of Kurt Cobain by Neca Toys. Once again the folks over at NECA have done an awesome job of replicating and immortalizing a celebrity in plastic. I have not seen one of these in the store so I’m not sure how old it is. If I had to guess I would say it has to be within the last two years. Keep up the good work NECA.

HUGE lot of classic G. I. Joe figures and vehicles

knightoftheson once a is offering up an awesome lot of 80′s collectibles. This time its my personal favorite toys, GIJOE. I love GIJOE always have always will, maybe if we had Duke or SnakEyes in Afghanistan we would get Osama. All kidding aside this lot is pretty cheap for the amount of stuff you are getting. I remember a few years ago Hasbro was buying back old GIJOES because they had destroyed all the original molds and could not reissue the figures. That is where collectors were cashing in on complete and loose figures. Do yourself a favor and check out all of knightoftheson auctions.

The London Police

I’m not sure what it is about The London Police, but I’ve always loved the style. I’m guessing it has something to do with the simplicity of the artwork. I say that, but that is certainly an oversimplification. The subject matter can be deep or whimsical — sometimes both. The brush stroke width is what catches my eye most often. The usage of fat lines vs skinny lines, it doesn’t make any sense to me, but it always seems to work. For instance, check this Teddy Troop from 4avee.

That hat is perfect. Just a great example of the TLP craftsmanship. And of course, displaying it on a Teddy Troop is just perfect. It just makes sense.

If your pockets are a little deeper and you are looking for a bigger piece, I’d highly suggest one of these great prints. Honestly, you can go wrong. Bring a little sophistication to your mom’s basement already. HA.

Watch this and appreciate.

Darth Vader is METAL!

Here is a sick looks one of a kind “sculpture” of Darth Vader made from what looks like random scraps of metal welded together! Looks pretty badass, but the asking price is just a LITTLE steep…

(click for TONS more images and a video)

From the listing

“Up for sale is a beautiful mini statue of Darth Vader, made out of

recycled metals, bolts and parts.

This work is amazingly detailed and was hand made by a real

professional one of a kind metal artist. This item is a MUST for

collectors and heavy fans of star wars!

Decorating your house with this unique item will draw your friend’s

attention and envy but they won’t be able to get one since I am the

only one selling it on eBay and you will be the only one buying it :-)

The pictures speak for themselves – what you see is what you get!”

Vintage lot of Kenner M.A.S.K. 1985-1986 vehicles

*field_marshal* is selling an awesome lot of M.A.S.K toys. I love this show it combined GI-JOE and Transformers into one show. To bad the show did not last that long. They really should make a movie but I don’t know if the demand for it is there. The toys were really cool for that time period, you got to have vehicles that allowed for more than just transportation for the figures. They served as weapons as well. I guess in that aspect they are similar to GIJOE. I would check this lot out it seems to be complete except for a few minor things but otherwise a great deal.

Support Toy Noize and we will support you.

I posted a few figure lots fromknightoftheson yesterday, and he was kind enough to check out our site and comment back. So I thought it would only be fare to post some of the new stuff he put up. I have to say this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles lot is awesome. I own a few pieces but no where as many as this. I never owned the Technodrome. For any of you Turtle fans out there check out the new movie Turtles Forever its pretty good.

Up next we have a classic lot of WWF and WCW figures. This probably my favorite period of wrestling. The late 80′s and early 90′s were an awesome time to be a wrestling fan. The characters were cooler and the rivalries were bigger. This lot includes the original wrestling ring and even some accessories. Bid hard and become a champion.

Christmas comes early !!

knightoftheson is unloading a whole bunch of awesome 80′s and early 90′s toys. He is “selling of his collections from his past to pay for his future”. This a perfect way for some of you who were not able to complete your collections to get all the figures you wanted in one purchase. There currently no bids on these lots but I’m sure that won’t last long.

THUNDERCATS “SNARF” VINTAGE PLUSH DOLL * BY LJN TOYS

This is a follow up post to my Thundercats lot. One of our readers Nick brought this to my attention. LJN apparently made a 12″ Snarf back in the day. I’ve never seen one in person but I have to say this is pretty much what you can expect from the 80′s.panaceacreations is selling this rare plush Snarf for quite a hefty price. But that is just my opinion. If I were a true collector of ThunderCats I would definitely pick this up.

HIP-HOP ALLSTARS

I’m a big fan of late old school rap/hip-hop. I can’t get with that new shit that’s out there. I remember seeing these figures at Toys R Us I thought it was kind of strange that they had an Ice-T next to the GIJoes. The only figure out these that I don’t agree with is Nelly. That guy sucks he is part of the new wave of garbage Rap. I hope they make a 12″ RUNDMC set, it would pretty awesome. Maybe give them some motion activated sound. Here is a list of other Rappers I would like to see in Plastic form.

1.Gangstar
2. Wu-tang Clan
3. Biggie
4. Brand Nubian
5. Dre and Snoop (Deep cover video)
6. N.W.A
7. 3rd Bass
9. Onyx
10. Tribe Called Quest
Maybe we can NECA or Mcfarlane Toys on this.

THUNDERCATS HOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thundercats was my shit back in the 80′s. I remember getting bored with He-Man and looking for an alternative, perhaps a man who is part Lion and wears blue underwear. Yeah that will do and you know what throw in a bumbling cat as his side kick instead of a flamboyant ghost in a pink hat who can’t do magic to save his ass. LNJ created the Thundercat toy line and let me say it was pretty solid. No rubber bands connecting legs and no soft rubber heads. I still have most of my figures but like most people I’m missing a lot of the weapons. I wish I saved more of my cool toys from the 80′s. Maybe you can relive your childhood with these items below. They are all pretty good deals so check them out.
