I can honestly say that I have never owned or seen one of these Shuttle Defiant’s up close. “This Listing is offering you the opportunity to own an extremely rare G.I. Joe Playset in it’s original box. Sealed by it’s original tape. Never opened. Never touched. The toy itself and all of its components are as new as new could be. The outer box (as shown in pictures and video) does show some shelf wear. However the front and side color posters are in incredible shape. This item is 25 + years old. It stands 4 feet tall. Hasbro (the toy manufacturer) no longer makes toys like this anymore. It’s big, it’s robust, and it was the dream to be owned by many children once upon a time. This playset is named: G.I. Yes! believe it or not, when this expensive toy was not selling well, it appeared on the clearance rack which is when it was purchased. Why was it never opened you ask? Because incredibly, the original owner of this one purchased it with the intentions of preserving it. He filled a room in his home with toys he had purchased from the clearance racks in the 80′s. This toy was purchased in the Boston, MA area and still has attached both it’s original price tag and clearance price tag. Do not quote me on this, but I have read on the internet that no more than 5,000 of these were produced. Now how many kids do you think could let a toy in a 4 foot box go unopened. Not too many, as this item is extremely rare. It is mint, in the original box, never, ever, ever opened. What a fine example that will only increase in value over time.”
